Secretary General of Turkiye's National Defence Council Sefullah Hacimuftuoglu met with Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze, the information was disseminated by the Georgian Ministry of Defence, APA's Tbilisi bureau reports.
It was noted that during the meeting, attention was paid to productive cooperation relations between the two countries in the field of defense, as well as Turkiye's support for the transformation of the Georgian Defense Forces. Regional security issues and existing challenges were also discussed at the meeting. During the talk, the importance of a strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkiye was stressed.
According to the information, the Georgian minister stressed the importance of the Georgian-Turkish-Azerbaijani trilateral cooperation format. The minister noted that joint trilateral exercises increase the mutual operational capability of the countries.
