As a result of strong diplomatic efforts, the government and personally the president worked to ensure that a trilateral meeting was held in Baku for the transit agreement, said Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh, APA reports, citing Tasnim.
“Under the conditions where we are seriously facing sanctions, restrictions, and prohibitions, the transit agreement signed between Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia, as well as the participation of representatives of these countries, is of great importance,” the Minister stated.
It should be noted that on October 13, a trilateral meeting of government representatives from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Iran took place in Baku.
