Azerbaijan continues its diplomatic engagements in the Middle East, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, said at a press conference summarizing the results of the year, APA reports.
“The invitation extended by the leaders of the United States and Egypt to the President of Azerbaijan to attend the summit held in Sharm El-Sheikh is a clear indication of strong confidence in our country’s peace experience,” the minister said.
According to Bayramov, Azerbaijan signed various documents with 41 countries over the course of the year.
The minister also noted that in 2025, Azerbaijan opened embassies in several countries: “After 13 years, our embassy in Syria has resumed its activities. These steps were taken as part of efforts to expand our diplomatic missions abroad.”
