Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of her official visit to the country, Milli Majlis Press and Public Relations Department told APA.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the King of Bahrain during the meeting.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa asked that his greetings also be conveyed to the President of Azerbaijan.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
