The ambassador of Iran to our country was told that insulting, false, slanderous, and biased information about the Republic of Azerbaijan, its state and government officials, as well as untruthful statements and speeches of Iran's well-known social and political figures are damaging the relations between our countries and further deepening misunderstandings, said the head of the press service of Azerbaijani MFA Aykhan Hajizada, APA reports.
During the meeting, it was emphasized the need to take urgent measures to prevent the spread of false and biased information against Azerbaijan in the Iranian media.
