On August 31, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anne Bouillon was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry told APA.
The Azerbaijani side considered the attempt to send cargoes to the internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan under any name, against the will of the Azerbaijani side, in a demonstrative manner contrary to the international legal framework regarding the sending of international humanitarian aid, as a provocative act and strong objection to this has been brought to the attention of the other party.
Azerbaijan MFA strongly demanded France to put an end to the actions that are directed against Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity protected by international law, and that endanger the fragile normalization process promoted by the active efforts of international actors in the region.
