"Contrary to the disinformation about the blockade, vehicles of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Armenian ambulances pass freely through the Lachin road," said Aykhan Hajizadeh, head of the press service department of Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, APA reports.
He said that such cases are repeated several times a day.
"Allegations about the blockade are false," the MFA official stressed.
Notably, conditions have been laid for an Armenian ambulance, accompanied by cars belonging to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), to move along the Lachin-Khankendi road. Today, the ICRC applied to Azerbaijan to allow the transfer of a patient from Khankendi to Armenia, accompanied by a doctor and a nurse.
The request was responded to immediately, and the transfer was successfully organized.
