“Proposals on joint humanitarian projects in the settlement process of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be assessed by the conflicting parties,” the Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova said at the briefing today, ONA’s Moscow bureau reports.
M. Zakharova responded to the question about the attitude of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia to the proposal of Armenian media representative after the Vienna meeting on the opening the Nagorno-Karabakh airspace for international flights and the possibility of joint use of the Sarsang reservoir in the framework of humanitarian projects by the so-called regime in the Nagorno-Karabakh:
“I consider that these or any other proposals and initiatives should be, first of all, evaluated by the conflicting parties. And then if there is a need this issue can be considered with the participation of this or any other countries or co-chair countries. I think that at the meeting to be held in Moscow will be a good opportunity in order to review these and any other issues.
