Successful talks held between French and Azerbaijani diplomats in Baku, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sophie Lagoutte posted on her "X" account, APA reports.
The ambassador stated that the discussions were a continuation of the recent meetings between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and France.
She noted that Bertrand Buchwalter, President's diplomatic counsellor for continental Europe, and Brice Roquefeuil, MFA director for continental Europe, visited Azerbaijan.
"The President’s Diplomatic councellor for continental Europe, Bertrand Buchwalter, and the MFA director for continental Europe, Brice Roquefeuil, arrived in Baku to discuss Azerbaijan–France relations and regional issues with Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, as well as Elchin Amirbayov, the President’s Special Envoy,” the ambassador added.
