“I reconfirm unshakable loyalty of France on negotiations on the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia and normalization of relations,” reads France President Emanuel Macron’s letter to Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Independence Day, APA reports.
“You can be sure I support the positive dynamics that have emerged in recent months between Azerbaijan and Armenia, both in establishing direct contacts at the level of foreign ministers and in establishing a bilateral commission on border issues. Creating the confidence environment is important for the establishment of the peace in the region,” noted Macron.
