West's desire on helping peace process between Baku and Yerevan is not sincere, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in his interview with journalists about the finals of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, APA reports.
According to the minister, Russia is not against the mediation attempts of the international figures in the peace process between Baku and Yerevan.
"Unfortunately, we see in the current activity of the US and EU that rather than helping the negotiation process, they want to penetrate the region. We see a desire to put pressure on Russia's legal interests," noted Lavrov.
