"Russia is keen on existence of South Caucasus where peace is established and we are working in the direction of two nations reconciling that are brotherly to us. Signed trilateral documents create strong base for construction of normal relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, APA reports.
Sergey Lavrov once again pointed out that they are ready to provide all kinds of support for the signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, at the opening of 'Russian-Azerbaijan relations in 21st century: strategic partnership in context of regional security' conference within the framework of 3rd meeting of Russia-Azerbaijan Expert Council held in Baku.
"We are not opposed to other parties supporting these issues, first of all, the peace agreement." According to him, however, this is possible if it is done sincerely for the establishment of permanent peace here.
