"Azerbaijan's proposals on a peace agreement with Armenia will create basis for a legal document," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a joint press conference on the results of his talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.
Lavrov noting they touched the peace agreement during the negotiations today said that everything should be done to bring the positions of the parties closer. The Russian Foreign Minister noted that Azerbaijan's proposals regarding the peace agreement will create a basis for a legal document.
Lavrov stressed that Russian peacekeepers are working regularly to settle the situation and eliminate disagreements regarding the ore deposits in Karabakh.
He noted that his country is interested in the establishment of a sustainable and just peace.
Russian top diplomat added that implementation of the all trilateral statements was analyzed at today's negotiations, and the opening of the transport communications and restoration of economic relations were discussed.
