The President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had phone talk, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing Kremlin press service.
During the phone talk the actual topics of Russia-Türkiye partnership in different fields have been discussed.
Gratification was expressed with the positive dynamics of trade and economic relations, the succesful implementation of joint strategic projects in the energy sector, including ga ssupply and the construction of Akkuyu NPP in Türkiye.
Turkish President thanked Putin for his “positive stance regarding the extension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.”
The Presidents touched on the Syrian problem. The importance of continuing the process of normalization of Turkish-Syrian relations was stressed. In this regard, the Turkish President specifically highlighted Russia's role as a constructive mediator.
Russian President congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people on the occasion of holy month of Muslims, Ramadan.
