Khush Choksy: Azerbaijan is a key connecting hub between East and West

Azerbaijan is an important connecting hub located between East and West, said Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President, International Member Relations and Senior Vice President, Middle East and Türkiye at the US Chamber of Commerce, in response to APA’s question.

According to him, amid Europe’s energy needs, Azerbaijan holds significant strategic importance in terms of energy, transport routes, logistics, manufacturing, and North–South connectivity. It was noted that the country’s location between East and West makes it one of the key hubs for regional cooperation and connectivity.

Kush Choksi added that the continued development of the region will further strengthen Azerbaijan’s role. According to him, Azerbaijan is part of the C5 format, and its transformation into a C6 format creates new opportunities for regional cooperation. This process also expands the country’s access to markets beyond its borders.
