"The European Union (EU) is committed to the South Caucasus region and, unlike other geopolitical actors, we do not have a hidden agenda," said Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy at the hearing held on Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, the situation in Karabakh and Lachin road, APA reports.
"The EU is interested in peacebuilding and helping to achieve peace for all peoples in the region. How we do it - as I said before, through the humanitarian aid mission, through the ongoing discussions, through the demining of the war-affected regions, by trying to reduce the risk of conflict," he said.
