“I also informed the Belgian Foreign Minister about the reintegration process of Armenian-origin citizens living in territory of Republic of Azerbaijan into the political, economical and social fields of Azerbaijan,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov as he gave joint briefing with Belgian counterpart Hadja Lahbib in Baku, APA reports.

“At the same time, specific steps taken by Azerbaijan, the appointment of a special representative, the fact that representative visited the Garabagh Economic Region and held a meeting, as well as the repeated proposal to hold a second meeting of this kind in another city of Azerbaijan were brought to attention during the meeting,” the Minister noted.

“I believe that Armenia should not hinder the mentioned processes. We see such obstacles in quite aggressive rhetoric. At the same time, the illegal armed groups still remaining on the territory of Azerbaijan in violation of the trilateral declaration is the biggest threat in this area. This has been supported by Armenia all this time. Illegal armed groups are financed directly from the Armenian budget. This can be seen from open sources,” FM Bayramov added.
