APA xəbər verir ki, bunu jurnalistlərə açıqlamasında xarici işlər naziri Ceyhun Bayramov deyib.

"The reason behind why UNESCO has not sent a mission so far is the Armenian side," Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, APA reports.

"Today, we raised the issue to send the UNESCO mission to the liberated territories. However, there are important points to be remembered. The Azerbaijani society is informed about the discussion of any issues. The Azerbaijani society must be fully convinced that the Azerbaijani state is taking all necessary steps on all relevant international platforms. However, the Armenians did not allow UNESCO to enter territories during this period grossly violating all the principles of international law, respectively, in violation of its obligations to protect historical and cultural monuments. All these facts are reflected in the documents. These are not the only points voiced and noted by Azerbaijan," he said.
