"First of all, using this opportunity, I commemorate the souls of those who have sacrificed and lost their lives during 44 days war and extend condolences to their families as a representative of the Japanese people in Azerbaijan. I wish the development of these territories, liberated territories in peace after that," Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada told journalists, APA reports.
The ambassador has added that the Japanese companies want to participate in construction and reconstruction works in the liberated territories from the occupation.
"Japanese companies would also like to participate in construction and reconstruction in these areas. Several Japanese companies are already in talks with Azerbaijan to participate in the reconstruction and rehabilitation work".
