COP31 Türkiye-Azerbaijan consultations were held in Istanbul, said the Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, Narmina Mustafayeva, APA reports.
Azerbaijan, which hosted COP29, was represented by a high-level delegation led by the President’s Representative on Climate Issues, Mukhtar Babayev, along with Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev, as well as expert groups.
It was stated that Azerbaijan is ready to share with Türkiye the experience it gained during the COP31 process.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan reaffirmed its commitment to close cooperation with Türkiye to ensure the successful organization of COP31.
