Istanbul hosts meeting of Assistants and Advisers on Foreign Policy Issues of Heads of OTS

On September 2, 2023, the Informal Meeting of Assistants and Advisers on Foreign Policy Issues of the Heads of Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was convened at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul upon the initiative of Azerbaijan, press secretary of OTS released information in this regard, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.

During the meeting which the Assistant to Azerbaijani President-Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev also attended, the participants deliberated on the development of OTS activities, emphasizing the need for enhanced collaboration across political, economic and humanitarian domains among the Member States.

Delegates explored potential opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives to promote stability, prosperity, and peace within the region and beyond.

Hikmat Hajiyev has also made a post about the informal meeting.

"Within the Organization of Turkic States we launched new mechanism of diloague and consultations at the level of assistants and diplomatic advisors of Presidents to catch up with the vision and strategic goals of Summits of OTS," the post reads.
