Issues to be discussed by Azerbaijani, Armenian Top Diplomats at Moscow meeting unveiled

A meeting between Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia in Moscow to be held on May 19, said said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to her, in addition to the tripartite meeting of Russian Foreign Minister with his Azerbaijani and Armenian counterparts, bilateral meetings will also be held between them on May 19:

"In addition, bilateral negotiations between the Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs regarding the peace agreement will be held. The heads of foreign policy institutions will consider the prospects of normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan. There will be a discussion on the implementation of tripartite agreements, including the opening of transport communications in the South Caucasus region, the delimitation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, the preparation of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, and the establishment of contacts with the public, experts and parliamentarians.

The Russian Foreign Minister is scheduled to discuss current issues of bilateral relations and the international agenda at the seperate meetings. We hope that the upcoming contacts will help Baku and Yerevan to settle the disputed issues, increase trust between the sides, as well as strengthen stability in the South Caucasus," Zakharova said.
