"31 years pass since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and Azerbaijan," the Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan wrote on the Twitter page, APA reports.
"7 April marks 31 years of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Israel and Azerbaijan. Over these years, our nations strengthened their long-dated friendship and both countries achieved a high level of strategic partnership," the Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan noted.
Mukhtar Mammadov, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Israel, shared a Twitter post on this occasion: "31 years ago, on 7 April, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Israel established diplomatic relations. Relations, based on centuries-long friendship and mutual respect between our nations, grew to the level of strategic partnership over those years."
