"This year, Iranians will celebrate the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations with two friend, fraternal, and neighboring countries with Azerbaijani sisters and brother, with whom they are together in both joy and sorrow," it has been noted in the article of Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyyed Abbas Mousavi dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Iranian-Azerbaijani diplomatic relations, APA reports.
Ambassador has noted that Iran was the first countries, which recognized independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 25, 1991, full diplomatic relations were established between two countries on March 12, 1992.
