On November 3, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Bəxtiyar Məmmədov, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, APA's local bureau reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the mutual relations established between the two countries as a result of the political will and friendly ties of the heads of state, as well as the role of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in these relations. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Nakhchivan, Aziz Mansouri, also attended the meeting.
