Ambassadors, French language teachers, and other guests participated in the event.
First, France’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Sophie Lagoutte, delivered a speech, stating that she highly values the work of French language teachers operating in Azerbaijan.
“For us, a priority is the promotion of the French language in Azerbaijan. I will work with the Azerbaijani government and do my best to contribute to the learning and development of the French language,” the Ambassador emphasized.
During the event, the “Palmes académiques” award, granted by the French Minister of Education, was presented by Sophie Lagoutte to Vusala Isgandarova, a French language teacher at Ganja State University.
