Hungary wants to improve lives of people affected by occupation

"Our cooperation has a strong foundation. Despite the difficulties, trade turnover is growing, Hungarian investors are playing a greater role in the Azerbaijani market. The Hungarian company MOL is involved in oil production in the Caspian Sea. We are succeeding in economic cooperation in Azerbaijan," Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Peter Siarto said at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku, APA reports.

Siarto said he came to Baku with the representatives of 24 companies from Hungary and was ready to invest in different areas of the Azerbaijani company. “We have always supported the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. We want to make a successful contribution to the restoration of Karabakh. We want to improve the lives of people affected by the occupation and work with Azerbaijani companies in these areas. The representatives of 24 companies came with me from Hungary. We are ready to take part in the restoration process of the infrastructure of the cities and territories.
