Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hikmat Hajiyev, visited the grave of Yusif Garabaghi in Bukhara, APA reports.

Yusif Garabaghi, a prominent 17th-century philosopher and scholar, left Karabakh and worked in Samarkand and Bukhara, leaving an important mark on the scientific and cultural life of Central Asia.
In 1619, the ruler of Bukhara, Bahadur Khan, had a library built in his honor and appointed Yusif Garabaghi as the head of the library.
To this day, Yusif Garabaghi’s grave is located in Bukhara.
