“Georgia’s foreign policy towards its southern neighbors is directed to balanced partnership relations and mutually useful cooperation,” said Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, APA’s Georgia bureau reports.
According to the minister, Georgia’s goal is to promote peace, stability, kind neighborhood, and dynamic development in the region.
I.Darchiashvili noted that the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan and Armenia held in Tbilisi was an important initiative in the direction of confidence building by Georgia.
“We consider that this initiative and its implementation is important for the region,” stressed the minister.
