Georgian expert: We had productive discussions about Middle Corridor

“We are delighted by the discussions held with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, listening to him and his answering our questions”, said the President of Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, Ekaterina Metreveli, the participant of the conference “Along the Middle Corridor: Geopolitics, Security and Economy” held at ADA University, Baku, on November 25, APA reports.

The expert said that the President of Azerbaijan answered the question about the regional situation and the opening of transport and communication networks in the region: "From the perspective of Georgia, my presence here was very important. I got acquainted with the plans in the direction of the opportunities in the field of logistics, cargo, and energy and the strengthening of the cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan. In addition to issues related to the regional situation and cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan, we had quite productive discussions about the cooperation with Central Asia, the potential of the Middle Corridor, etc.”.
