With the establishment of peace and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Georgia will not lose any of its functions, Irakli Kadagishvili, Chairman of the Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Government of the Georgian Parliament, told journalists, APA's local bureau reports.
According to him, the establishment of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia will allow turning the South Caucasus into a strongly developed region.
"The 35-year war between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended. Peace, of course, has created new opportunities for trade, logistics, and transport," Kadagishvili added.
