Georgia's foreign policy is focused on balanced partnership relations and reciprocally useful, practical cooperation with neighboring countries, said Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, APA reports.
According to the Foreign Minister, the main goal of the Georgian government is to promote peace and stability, good neighboring relations and the economic development of the region.
Within the framework of Peaceful Neighborhood Initiative, Georgia has taken effective steps towards constructive dialogue between two neighboring countries. As we belive Georgia's natural role in ensuring peace and stability (in peace process) in the region, we once again stress that we are ready to continue our participation," noted the Minister.
