On December 30, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the employees of Azerbaijan's Embassy in France, who were declared persona non grata by the French Republic on December 27 without any basis, the Ministry told APA.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the Embassy employees for their productive diplomatic service.
It was noted that this unreasonable step taken by France is the next blow to the existing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France by said country
It was also noted that the cause of the tension prevailing in bilateral relations is the French side, which took unjustified steps against Azerbaijan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished the Embassy employees success in their future diplomatic activities.
