Foreign Minister: Northern Cyprus is ready to contribute to all efforts as part of OTS

The inclusion of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in regional media and information networks through the OTS is both an expression of solidarity and a necessary step for justice, said Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and an observer member of the OTS, during his speech at the 7th Meeting of the Ministers and Senior Officials in charge of Media and Information of the OTS, APA reports.

“Thus, we can ensure that every part of the Turkic world is represented fairly and properly on the global stage,” he noted.

Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu emphasized that the experience of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which faces global restrictions in the field of information, can be useful for the OTS countries: “The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is fully ready to contribute to all efforts within the OTS. Our institutions, shaped by historical experience, are open to participating in joint projects, exchanging knowledge, and initiatives aimed at increasing potential within the Turkic world.”
