"We witness political and military provocations by Armenia, when positive steps are taken towards the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," said Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov at press conference he held with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, OSCE Chairman-in-Office Bujar Osmani in Baku, APA reports.
The Minister stressed that it is not the first case: “Azerbaijani side investigate the issue, however, based on initial reviews, it became clear that it was a planned provacation. The presence of the corps commander of special forces indicates that this was done on their orders, not the decision of an ordinary soldier. This once again shows that there was a plan behind this provocation."
The Foreign Minister also stressed that rapid construction works are underway in the areas near the areas where the provacation took place.
