FM: Cultural-religious heritage of Azerbaijan was destroyed Armenian agression

Armenians destroyed cultural-religious monuments in Shusha city in 30 years, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during his video speech at the opening ceremony of the 9th Meeting of the National Comissions for UNESCO member countries of the TURKSOY jointly organized by the National Comission of Azerbaijan for the UNESCO, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), University of ADA, and the Institute of the Development and Diplomacy of the University, APA reports.

"Under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, victorious Azerbaijan Army has liberated its historical lands fro occupation after the 44-Day Patriotic War. During the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan, our historical, cultural and religious heritage was destroyed, appropriated, and its historical essence was changed. Armenia destroyed historical monuments in the territory of present-day Armenia, as in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur," the minister stressed.
