Within the framework of the Solidarity Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, the First Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan NGO Cooperation Forum was held, APA reports.

At the forum, NGO representatives from both countries discussed the prospects for the development of Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan relations in this field.

Zhansala Ismagulova, Chair of the “Future With You” Republican Public Union from Kazakhstan, said that joint cooperation among NGOs can help address issues that remain outside the attention of governments. She noted that NGOs support ensuring the participation of all sides in solving difficulties.

“Joint cooperation among civil societies, states, and business representatives helps resolve problems more quickly and effectively,” Ismagulova emphasized.

Speaking next, Assiya Tikeeva, Director of the “Community HUB” Public Fund, stated that NGOs not only address acute social challenges but also shape a new positive perception in society toward vulnerable groups and children: “By working together, we can bring our societies to a more just state and help achieve sustainable development. For advancing toward a shared future with Azerbaijan, it is essential for our NGOs to join hands.”

Ayan Turekulov, Head of the “Second Republic” Public Fund in Kazakhstan, said that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have an influential role in the Eurasian space and spoke about the efforts of the two countries in promoting multiculturalism. He highlighted the opportunities available to NGOs in the development of cultural ties within the Turkic world and noted that the potential in this area is very large.
