"NATO and EU membership is the sovereign right of each country, and countries can join these alliances if they wish and meet the required conditions,"former President of Croatia, co-Chair of the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board (GPMB) Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović said at the XI Baku Global Forum, APA reports.
"Ukraine is being subjected to Russia's aggression because it wishes to use its sovereign right," the ex-president said.
She noted that 2024 will be a decisive year for the war in Ukraine. The former president did not rule out the existence of various scenarios regarding the course of this war, even the possibility of Russia's success.
