An event titled "EU and Youth: For a Sustainable Future" was held in Baku, APA reports.
The event was dedicated to the conclusion of the European Union's education campaign under the slogan "Let Education Write Your Destiny", as well as the 10th anniversary of the Young European Ambassadors' activities in Azerbaijan.
The event, held with the participation of the European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Marijana Kujundžić, and the Young European Ambassadors, discussed issues such as modern diplomacy, women leaders, youth activities, and digital public diplomacy.
The ambassador said that the EU is always ready to support young people in building a sustainable future.
“Young European Ambassadors are not only the leaders of the future, they are also our current partners. The participation of young people in diplomacy strengthens and connects our societies. The EU is always ready to support young people in building a sustainable future. We build bridges between people. Young European Ambassadors are our partners in this matter. They participate in business start-ups, cultural exchanges, scholarship programs and a number of other joint projects. The participation of women and young people in diplomacy strengthens our societies and improves our relations,” the EU Ambassador noted.
Note that the Young European Ambassadors (YEA) is a non-political network of young volunteers from the European Union and the Eastern Partnership countries. The network promotes dialogue and cooperation among young people, contributing to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Europe.
