The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, Margus Tsahkna, visited the Victory Park in Baku on October 22, APA reports.
A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the guest.
The minister laid a wreath in front of the Victory Monument in the park.
Then, the guest was given detailed information about the Victory Park, which was created to commemorate the unparalleled heroism shown by the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War and the magnificent historical Victory they won, and to perpetuate the dear memory of our martyrs.
It was noted that at the entrance to the park, which has an area of about 10 hectares, a Victory Arch with a height of 44 meters, a width of 22 meters, and 44 columns was built as a symbol of the 44-day Patriotic War.
It should be noted that the park was opened on November 8, 2024 with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
