Estonia highly appreciates the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, said Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, APA reports.
The minister noted that he had called Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to inform him about Estonia's decision to open an embassy in Armenia in 2026.
"This is an important milestone in Armenian-Estonian relations and reflects how closely both countries have developed in recent years," Tsahkna emphasized.
He also noted that Estonia highly appreciates the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"We continue to support Armenia in advancing democratic reforms and approaching the European Union," the diplomat added.
