Ervin Ibrahimović: Azerbaijan can become a leader in fields of energy and transport and logistics

“Azerbaijan can become a leader in the energy and transport-logistics sectors. Azerbaijan has such a vision,” said Ervin Ibrahimović, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro at a joint press conference with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.

The minister noted that Montenegro can also become a hub between the Balkans and Europe in the energy sector: “Montenegro has very great potential in this field. We are planning the construction of a second submarine cable.”

Montenegro is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in the field of transport. “We can implement very good projects. We can find opportunities to cooperate with the Adriatic Pipeline Alliance. Montenegro’s geographical location in this field is very favorable.”
