Ersin Tatar expresses gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev

Following Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's announcement that the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be raised during events held in Azerbaijan at the Turkic States Summit in Baku, President Ersin Tatar issued a written statement, APA reports citing the website of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

"I am pleased with the announcement of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the Turkic Council Summit in Baku, stating that the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be raised during events held in Azerbaijan.

While the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, a Turkic state with the understanding of one nation, three states in the Eastern Mediterranean, continues its existence, my greatest wish is to have an inseparable connection with Azerbaijan.

I would like to thank President Aliyev for his statements, and I hope that our brotherhood and partnership will be eternal."
