The issues discussed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin during their meeting in Ashgabat have been announced, APA's Türkiye Bureau reports.
Turkish Presidential Administration's Communication Department said in a statement about the meeting that the presidents discussed issues such as Türkiye-Russia relations, peace efforts in the Ukraine-Russia war, and the EU's freezing of Russian assets.
Erdogan stressed the importance of the initiatives taken to end the war with a just and lasting peace and said that a limited ceasefire covering energy facilities and ports could be beneficial.
It was noted that Türkiye is closely following the peace process and is ready to host negotiations in any format.
The meeting also discussed the latest developments in Palestine and Syria, as well as the peace process in the South Caucasus.
