Erdogan: Our region will prosper even more with the signing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia

Türkiye and Azerbaijan have a strategic position between East and West, said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President on Twitter after his visit to Azerbaijan, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.

"In line with our brotherhood, our cooperation in every field from trade to energy, from the defense industry to transportation will deepen even more. Our region will prosper even more with the signing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia."

The post also emphasized that the dialogue between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is being continued with the existing coordination between the leaders: "I also believe that we will see the positive results of these contacts in the near future.

On this occasion, I commemorate the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, who left us the legacy of the "two states, one nation" slogan, with mercy and gratitude on the 100th anniversary of his birth.
