Direct flights from Bratislava to Baku may be launched, Slovak President Peter Pellegrini said during a joint press statement with President Ilham Aliyev, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Slovakia reports.
The Slovak President stated that this issue was also discussed: “I am confident that Mr. President's first official visit will mark the beginning of a new phase in our cooperation.”
He added that Slovakia is building a “smart city” in Karabakh: “Our import bank is also ready to finance various projects. Azerbaijan and Slovakia are friendly countries.”
