Diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan began visit to Jabrayil and Zangilan

According to the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on October 31, 2025, the visit of the heads of embassies and international organizations accredited in the country to the Jabrayil and Zangilan districts has begun, APA reports.

The visit is expected to be attended by a total of more than 100 representatives from 51 countries and 12 international organizations.

During the visit, which will take place with the accompaniment of the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, representatives of the diplomatic corps will personally familiarize themselves with the restoration and reconstruction works being carried out in the Jabrayil and Zangilan districts. They will be informed about the projects successfully implemented within the framework of the “Great Return” State Program, as well as about the Zangezur Corridor project, which increases the strategic importance of the region, and will get acquainted on-site with the works carried out on the railway and automobile roads in the territory of the Agbend settlement.

The delegation will visit key infrastructure facilities, including the “Dost Agropark” livestock complex in the Zangilan district and the Hakari railway station located on the section of the Hakari River passing through the territory of the Zangilan district. The visit program also includes viewing the residential complex, school and kindergarten buildings, as well as the Zangilan city mosque in the city of Zangilan.

The visit of the representatives of the diplomatic corps will provide an opportunity to closely observe the scale of the work being carried out and the development potential of the region, as well as to assess Azerbaijan’s efforts aimed at ensuring the sustainable restoration, socio-economic revival, and reintegration of the liberated territories.

It should be noted that this is the 20th visit of representatives of the diplomatic corps to the liberated territories, organized on the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
