On July 14, the delegation led by Kazys Starkevičius, the chairman of the Lithuanian-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary relations working group of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, visited the Alley of Martyrs, APA reports.
Members of the delegation of the Lithuanian Parliament visited the graves of sons of the motherland who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, laid fresh flowers on their graves, and laid flowers before the Eternal Flame.
Then the Lithuanian parliamentarians, who were watching the view of our capital from the highest point of Baku, were informed about the history of Martyrs' Alley and the renovation and construction works carried out in our city.
