Defense Ministry refutes Armenian media reports on Azerbaijani Army

Colonel Vagif Dargahli, spokesman of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, has told ONA that the military leadership of Armenia is doing everything possible to cast shadow on the achievements of Azerbaijan’s Army.

He was commenting on the Armenian media reports, which alleged that there are negative cases in the Azerbaijani Army.

He said this is done with an aim to divert attention and conceal the negative cases in the Armenian army, the relations between servicemen that violate military regulations, the increasing non-combat losses, poor supply and equipment of the Armenian army, the widespread bribery, and especially, as Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan himself admits, the management of the army in line with criminal rules.

Those who disseminate the reports that aren’t based on any real facts attempt to create disbelief in Azerbaijani society towards Azerbaijan’s strong Army and its patriot personnel, said V. Dargahli.

“We resolutely refute such reports, consider them as biased and see them as a part of the enemy propaganda,” he added.
