On October 17, a commemoration ceremony was held in the city of Ganja for the victims of terrorist incidents committed by the Armenian forces during the Patriotic War, with the participation of the employees of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors of about 50 countries, diplomatic corps, representatives of international organizations operating in our country, as well as representatives of local and foreign media, APA reports.

Before the event, the event participants paid tribute to the memory of the National Leader, Heydar Aliyev, by laying wreaths and bunches of flowers before his bust.
Later, the participants of the event, who visited the Ganja Memorial Complex, expressed their respect by placing flowers in front of the memorial corner of the deceased civilians.
Elchin Mammadov, the First Deputy Prosecutor General, who spoke at the commemorative event, said that during the 44-day Patriotic War, the prosecutor's office bodies mobilized with our society and took necessary measures by carrying out possible investigative actions in the conditions of combat operations on each crime committed by the Armenian Armed Forces.

Foreign diplomats visiting Ganja visited the monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the main square of the city, APA's local bureau reports.
The guests laid flowers before the monument.
Later, the diplomats were in the area destroyed by Armenian terrorism and visited Victory Park. The foreign diplomats got acquainted with the results of the war crimes committed by Armenia on the spot and visited the residential area targeted by a ballistic missile during the 44-day Patriotic War.
